An idea came to me as I was watching an Indonesian movie called "The Photograph", about an abused prostitute that had run away from the brothel and sought refuge within a small photography service run by an elderly man haunted by his past.

The girl ended up working as a housekeeper for the man, and sometime during the movie, the man realises that his life wasn't to last for much longer. He goes on in search of a successor to take over the photography business, but when the woman offers to take over the business, he refuses her firmly, saying something along the lines of:

"There is no point in a beautiful person that is unable to see the beauty in herself."

I thought,
"That must be sad,"
And somehow ended up drawing this woman. There's a lot of background story behind this picture, but as of now it's pretty much irrelevant.

On another note, I hope the nudity isn't too obvious LOL. But the point of her being naked is supposed to be conceptual. What it actually is, however, is for the viewer to interpret on their own.
